Johnson Controls’ Automotive Spinoff Adient To Be Based Overseas

According to the Wall Street Journal, Chief Executive Alex Molinaroli told analysts during a conference call last week that the company will be a “foreign-domiciled entity.”

According to the Journal, Chief Executive Alex Molinaroli told analysts during a conference call last week that the company will be a “foreign-domiciled entity” once it is spun off, but he did not disclose where.

Johnson Controls announced it would spin off its automotive business in 2015, and announced the Adient name in January of this year.
