FALLS CHURCH, Va. The Automotive Maintenance and Repair Association (AMRA) has announced the addition of Joellen Kwiatkowski to the association staff as manager, membership and administration.
Kwiatkowski’s duties include providing membership administration services, as well as coordinating meeting sites for AMRA’s Motorist Assurance Program (MAP) Technical Committee meetings.
“We are extremely pleased to have Joellen on board,” said Joseph Henmueller, AMRA director, administration. “Joellen has a wonderful, upbeat attitude and is terrific at building relationships through strong communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills. Joellen’s expertise in project management and exceptional organizational skills will help AMRA and MAP meet our aggressive short- and long-term goals of providing Uniform Inspection & Communication Standards for the automotive aftermarket.”
“After meeting the AMRA board of directors and so many AMRA members during Industry Week in Las Vegas recently, I feel very fortunate to be part of this forward-thinking organization,” said Kwiatkowski.
As part of her initial responsibilities, Kwiatkowski will assist AMRA with its move in early 2013 from offices in Falls Church, Va., to Arlington Heights, Ill.
“With the association moving to Illinois and the expansion of the staff, AMRA is in a position to better serve its members and industry,” said Barry Soltz, AMRA president.
