Jack Cameron, MAAP, a veteran aftermarket executive, has joined Pioneer Automotive Industries as vice president of business development. In this capacity, he will be responsible for developing new business and programs, reporting to John Pope, vice president of sales and marketing. “I am happy to have Jack back as part of the Pioneer family. His experience and industry knowledge will be a vital part of our growth strategy,” said Pope.
Cameron began his automotive career with Federal-Mogul but joined Pioneer five years later and served in various marketing roles. During his six years at Pioneer, then part of the Barnes Group and later UIS, he helped launch several major lines which are still part of the product portfolio.
Most recently, Cameron was with Brake Parts Inc as national sales manager – commercial vehicle. Previously, he was vice president, programs and services for the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA). With more than 30 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, other positions have included general manager of the aftermarket, Timken Corp.; director of sales and marketing, Ken-Tool; and vice president of marketing, Dorman Products.
Now part of the Lodi Group, Pioneer is one of six manufacturing companies under the Lodi umbrella and specializes in powertrain related components, including engine and transmission.
