Intran Receives Two New Quality Control Certifications

Intran, one of Mexico's premier automotive manufacturers and suppliers, announced it is now certified in the quality control certifications IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015.

Intran, one of Mexico’s premier automotive manufacturers and suppliers, announced it is now certified in the quality control certifications IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015. These new certifications will be utilized in addition to Intran’s own in-house quality assurance program.

“We’re proud to receive these top quality certifications from IATF and ISO,” says Juan Cintron, Intran’s CEO. “We always assure our customers that our manufacturing quality is top-notch, and these updated certifications back up our word.”

Primarily providing fuel system products and safety components to automakers and Tier 1 suppliers, Intran has been in business for close to 50 years in Mexico. The company says it is consistently adapting and evolving to make sure its quality management team and systems meet the highest standards set by both the automotive and manufacturing industries. In addition, the company says its top priority is keeping its supply chain in alignment with global automotive manufacturing guidelines. All equipment, processes and finished products are subject to rigorous internal quality assurance in addition to requirements set forth by the industry.
