DALLAS, Texas A panel of leading executives from Ryder, Wabash National and DTNA will discuss how regulations, costs and vehicle reliability affect the equipment life/trade cycle at the fifth annual Commercial Vehicle Outlook Conference Aug. 20-21 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.
The panel discussion includes John Diez, senior vice president, Ryder Dedicated; Bruce Ewald, senior vice president, sales and marketing for Wabash National; David Hames, general manager, marketing strategy, DTNA. The group will discuss the various factors that affect truck design, fleet spec’ing decisions and vehicle life cycles now and into the future. Jack Roberts, CCJ executive editor, equipment, will moderate the panel.
Presented jointly by the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association and Randall-Reilly, the Commercial Vehicle Outlook Conference will be held Aug. 20-21, the day prior to and the opening day of The Great American Trucking Show. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, followed by a networking lunch. A networking reception will be held immediately following the program on Wednesday evening. The conference will end at 11 a.m. on Thursday when The Great American Trucking Show opens.
