Heidts Hot Rod Acquires Chassis Engineering Inc.

The two companies will continue to operate under their established brands, but Chassis Engineering Inc. will move sales, technical and manufacturing operations to the Heidts facility in Illinois.

Heidts Hot Rod and Muscle Car Parts has acquired Chassis Engineering Inc. (CEI). The two companies will continue to operate under their established brands, but Chassis Engineering Inc. will move sales, technical and manufacturing operations to the Heidts facility in Lake Zurich, Illinois. Chassis Engineering Inc. products will continue to be produced by many of the same employees currently with the company.

“We are very excited to announce that Chassis Engineering Inc. is joining our family of companies, which includes Heidts Hot Rod and Muscle Car Parts, Alston Racing and American Performance Shocks. CEI is a great fit for us and brings decades of experience serving the street and hot rod markets with their quality high-performance parts,” said Heidts President and CEO Wallace Leyshon.

“CEI’s Iowa operations will be folded into our Lake Zurich, Illinois, facility and we will retain many of their staff and continue to supply the needs of current CEI customers. The combined companies will provide the market with the most comprehensive product line of suspension kits and components available in the automotive aftermarket.”
