HDMA’s Breakfast & Briefing 2018 Speakers Announced

HDMA’s 27th annual Breakfast & Briefing will be held from 8-9:45 a.m. on Sept. 21, at Die Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung (IAA) at Messe Hannover, in Convention Center Room 1, near the truck display buildings on the Fairgrounds. Gold Level Sponsors for the event are Meritor and Roland Berger Consultants, with Silver Level Sponsors Allison Transmission, Bendix CVS, IHS Markit, Knorr-Bremse, MacKay and Co., Phillips, VDA and IAA. Additional Silver sponsorships remain available.

HDMA has announced the lineup of speakers to highlight Martin Daum, member of the board of management of Daimler AG, responsible for Daimler Trucks & Buses, as the keynote speaker, moderated by Jay Craig, CEO and president of Meritor Inc. Daum will be speaking on the Trends and Technology Advances in the Global Commercial Vehicle Industry.

The breakfast also will include two “TED Talk-like,” 10-minute presentations from Sandeep Kar, chief strategy officer for Fleet Complete, presenting “State of the Art and Growth Opportunities for HD Industry Participants in Connected Commercial Vehicle Eco-Systems,” and Dr. Wilfried Aulbur, senior partner and member of the Global Supervisory Board of Roland Berger Consultants, on the “Realities of CV Electrification – Trends, Scope, Scale and Adaptation.”
