HDAW’16 To Host 9th Annual CVSN Pinewood Challenge

The CVSN Pinewood Challenge is similar to pine-car derby races commonly seen at Boy Scout events. The HDAW event features trucks and trailers. The CVSN Pinewood Challenge is open to all HDAW’16 distributor and supplier company attendees and awards prizes for first-, second- and third-place winners in both the Pinewood Race and the Concours d ‘Elegance (for the best-looking truck).

The CVSN Pinewood Challenge will be held in conjunction with Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW’16) in Las Vegas. The CVSN Pinewood Challenge will be part of an all-industry reception held during HDAW from 5:30-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 27, in the Mirage Grand Ballroom.

First-place winners for both the Pinewood Challenge race and Concours d’Elegance will receive $250 Mastercard gift cards. Second-place winners in both categories will win $150 Mastercard gift cards, and third-place winners receive a $100 Mastercard gift card.

Audience participation drawings will happen throughout the derby. Attendee prizes include:

Four $50 Mastercard gift cards from the HDAW organizers
Special Vegas golf bag from the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority
Two Official NASCAR memorabilia items courtesy of CVSN

Dorman Products is the defending Grand Champion from HDAW’15 and welcomes all challengers this year. All Pinewood Challenge race trucks will be on display for the duration of the HDAW’16 Product Expo. All entry forms are due by Jan. 22.
