Two auto care industry leaders, David Caracci, MAAP, and Mort Schwartz, MAAP, were recently honored with a donation made in their names to the University of the Aftermarket Foundation. It was announced by Pete Kornafel, MAAP, a trustee of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation. The donation was made by Harvest Partners, a private equity firm based in New York, and will fund several UAF scholarships in 2017.
“On behalf of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation, I want to thank Harvest Partners for their generous contribution in honor of Mort and Dave,” said Kornafel. “As strong supporters of industry education throughout their careers, these two industry advocates have worked tirelessly to help raise scholarship funds for deserving students seeking a career in the aftermarket. It is very rewarding to see Harvest Partners recognize them for their efforts. I know they are both grateful that more scholarships will be funded in 2017.”
