GlobalBusinessProfessor.com Partners With Mobile Comply To Offer Connected Vehicle Online Course

The new course is intended to benefit professionals in those industries who are interested in enhancing their career by increasing their professional credibility with a foundational understanding of the connected vehicle concepts that are necessary to succeed.

connected-car-stock-photoWith the convergence of the automotive, telecommunications, information technology and insurance industries, it has become imperative to have a common frame of understanding in the connected vehicle space. GlobalBusinessProfessor.com, a leading online education company for automotive professionals and a content partner to AMN, is partnering with Mobile Comply, an international leader in connected and autonomous vehicle certification and training. Together, the companies will offer the “Connected Vehicle Management Overview” online course to automotive industry professionals worldwide.

The widespread adoption of in-vehicle technology, mobile devices and the infrastructure to support them has suddenly accelerated the growth of the connected vehicle industry. In fact, by 2020, BI Intelligence estimates that 75 percent of cars shipped globally will be built with the necessary hardware to allow people to stream music, look up movie times, be alerted of traffic and weather conditions and even power driving-assistance services, such as self-parking.

“The workforce today needs very different skills and training than previously necessary,” said Elaina Farnsworth, CEO, Mobile Comply. “Reports from the Center for Automotive Research show that universities were historically focused in areas specific to mechanical engineering, IT and more traditional degree programs. But, the training required for the future workforce is a convergence of technologies from automotive, telecommunications, security and connectivity.”

The new course is intended to benefit professionals in those industries who are interested in enhancing their career by increasing their professional credibility with a foundational understanding of the connected vehicle concepts that are necessary to succeed.

The Mobile Comply Connected Vehicle Management Overview, a condensed two-hour online introduction to the connected vehicle ecosystem, will be available starting Feb. 15. Cost for the online course is $499 per person and participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion.
