AMSTERDAM The world’s No. 1 show for remanufacturing is about to open. From June 16-18, Amsterdam RAI will feature the largest and most international remanufacturing show ever, according to event organizers, reporting a growth of 20 percent compared to its last edition.
Remanufactured parts: booming business
Remanufacturing of engines, transmissions and other automotive parts is a fast-growing segment within the automotive aftermarket. Increasingly, more governments, authorities, organizations and businesses around the world are supporting remanufacturing for its unique combination of quality, sustainability, cost effectiveness and employability.
The development of the ReMaTec exhibition reflects the growth of automotive and heavy-duty reman in general, show organizers say. In times of slower growth, the demand for cost-effective, high-quality and sustainable alternatives to new parts accelerates. ReMaTec2013 serves the need to communicate with partners and customers, exchange views and experience and facilitate business.
A truly international event
Visitors can indulge in the world of remanufacturing with the largest sector overview of innovations, network gatherings and technical seminars. Buyers from all corners of the world are expected at this year’s event, with registrations in from 63 different countries as of press time. In addition, several official trade missions have been announced including, business delegations from China (3), Iraq, the U.S. and the Baltic States.
Complete range of products and solutions
ReMaTec2013 will feature more than 180 international exhibitors from around the world, who will display their products and solutions. Companies involved in remanufacturing of engines, brake systems, electronics, turbochargers, transmissions and other automotive components exhibit at ReMaTec2013. The show also has a broad range of equipment for parts cleaning, surface treatment, testing and diagnostic operations.
ReMaTec Theatre
There will be a daily seminar program where delegates will share knowledge and experience with expert speakers about technology, business cases and solutions, illustrated by projects, pilots, good practice, proven technology and research results.The ReMaTec2013 Theatre program features 14 30-minute sessions. All are free and open to all show visitors.

Remanufacturer of the Year Award 2013
For the ninth time, ReMaTecNews, the international news magazine for the automotive and heavy-duty remanufacturing industry, will announce the winner of the ‘Remanufacturer of the Year Award.’ The winner is selected by the judges from all nominated candidates on the basis of technical excellence, dedication to quality, innovation, customer service, pioneering activities and commitment to the cause of remanufacturing. The award will be presented on Sunday, June 16.

Entry to ReMaTec is free to pre-registered trade visitors. ReMaTec also offers free rail transport between Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam RAI. Please note pre-registration is required to use this service. Visitor pre-registration is facilitated free of charge via the ReMaTec website.
Opening hours
ReMaTec2013 will be held in the RAI Convention Centre from Sunday, June 16 to Tuesday, June 18. The exhibition will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
