Global new registrations in the first nine months of the year are up significantly from the year before, and global new registrations are expected to exceed 74 million units, according to Polk.

Global new registrations in the first nine months of the year are up significantly from the year before, and global new registrations are expected to exceed 74 million units,  according to Polk.

Based on data which is preliminary in some cases, global demand for passenger vehicles in September increased about 6 percent from the year before. Global sales of passenger vehicles in the first nine months of the year were up about 2.33 million units (4.3 percent) from the year before.
