Genuine GM Collision Parts Announces MyPriceLink Integration With Major Collision Estimating Systems

By integrating the MyPriceLink pricing engine within the major collision estimating systems, the company says it has been able to create a seamless and transparent experience for body shops, insurance staff and independent adjusters.

GM-logoGM Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA) has announced that, after extensive testing and validation of its real-time collision pricing initiative, MyPriceLink, including AudaExplore, Mitchell and CCC Information Services, will be supporting the delivery of real-time list pricing.

By integrating the MyPriceLink pricing engine within the major collision estimating systems, the company says it has been able to create a seamless and transparent experience for body shops, insurance staff and independent adjusters.

“GM is very excited at the unprecedented collaboration around this initiative. It is a win for all of us. For GM, we get to leverage technology to deliver list price while an estimate is written. For the collision estimating systems, they are able to deliver GM’s real-time list price without any disruption to their users’ workflow. Now that MyPriceLink is in place, we look forward to further exploration of ideas with these stakeholders to the benefit of all of our customers,” said Kris Mayer, general director, wholesale dealer channel.

Users of Audatex Estimating, Mitchell Estimating and Web-Est will have immediate price visibility on all estimates written with Genuine GM collision parts beginning Dec. 1.

Users of CCC ONE Estimating and Comp-Est will be phased in beginning Dec. 1. If you are a user of one of these estimating systems, you have options for getting a GM list price on Dec. 1, by signing up for:

  • CollisionLink Shop (for fleets and shops)
  • CollisionLink Insurance (for insurers and independent adjusters)

These products are available at no cost to shops, fleets or insurance/independent adjusters. Contact the OEConnection sales team at 888-776-5792, ext. 3 to sign up for CollisionLink before Dec. 1.

“A year ago everyone understood the strategy and some even applauded it, but many were concerned with the disruption it was going to create. The market asked us to pause and collaborate. Since then, we have done just that. We have met with all three estimating companies, key insurance company stakeholders and body shops, and listened to their workflow concerns.

“We’ve designed just what the marketplace asked for – a seamless and transparent end-user experience. The discussion we have had with industry stakeholders regarding MyPriceLink has provided unprecedented collaboration and is just a start. We look forward to working on many mutually identified areas of opportunity,” said Mayer.
