FMSI Honors Dino Crescentini With ‘Legends Of Industry’ Award

Crescentini has devoted his life to providing the automotive aftermarket with an ever-evolving and sensible approach that has benefitted manufacturers, distributors and the consumers alike.

Dynamic Friction Co. (DFC) has announced that the Friction Materials & Standards Institute (FMSI) bestowed the newly created “Legends of Industry” award to Dino Crescentini. The award was presented to Crescentini during the FMSI annual membership meeting in Longboat Key, Florida.

Rick Jamison, FMSI treasurer and president of ABS Friction, stated, “There are few living legends in our industry and we wanted to recognize somebody that has left an indelible footprint on both innovation and utility. Dino was the obvious first choice. No one person has contributed more to the aftermarket brake sector as Dino. Much of the new product and development in today’s brake friction market is attributable to Dino.”

Crescentini has devoted his life to providing the automotive aftermarket with an ever-evolving and sensible approach that has benefitted manufacturers, distributors and the consumers alike.

“I am among the few who are fortunate enough to do what they love while getting the opportunity to work with others who have the same curiosity for parts and passion for the industry,” said Crescentini.
