FleetPride Announces Two Senior Level Promotions

Mike Paxton moves from vice president of business development and strategic planning to vice president of mergers and acquisitions. Peter Pasdach moves from vice president of the Midwest region to vice president of business development.

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – FleetPride, one of the nation’s largest independent aftermarket distributors of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts, has announced two senior level promotions.

Mike Paxton moves from vice president of business development and strategic planning to vice president of mergers and acquisitions. Paxton’s focus will be coordinating all resources required to execute growth through acquisitions, as well as the opening of greenfield locations in select markets.

Peter Pasdach moves from vice president of the Midwest region to vice president of business development. Pasdach’s strong background in sales, and his more than 30 years in the heavy-duty parts industry, brings critically needed support to this new position, according to FleetPride.

Paxton and Pasdach will report to W.M. McGee, president and CEO. Both appointments became effective Jan. 1.

"Over the past two years, we’ve successfully added 36 new locations through the acquisition of 15 businesses and two greenfield locations, while also experiencing significant organic growth. For 2012, our goal is to accelerate FleetPride’s acquisition strategy, open new locations in markets where acquisition candidates are not available, and fuel growth at our existing operating locations. While the structure in place has been very effective, the next 12 months will require additional resources specifically focused on reaching all of our growth objectives," said McGee.

"With this change, FleetPride has the depth and experience in the senior management team to execute on the tremendous growth opportunities in front of us," added McGee. "As we expand our national footprint, I am confident of our ability to provide quality product and consistent service to the heavy-duty industry."
