Federated Sweepstakes Grand Prize Winner Presented with ‘Sweet Ride’ at AAPEX

Corvette featured on "Two Guys Garage" was one of hundreds of prizes awarded to Federated Car Care Center members.

STAUNTON, Va. – Federated customer Don Nyland of Max’s Car Care in Black Canyon City, Ariz., was not planning on being in Las Vegas during Industry Week. However, when he found out he was the grand prize winner of the Federated “Sweet Ride” Sweepstakes, Nyland set out for Vegas to collect his prize, the “Sweet Ride” Corvette. The Federated “Sweet Ride” Corvette, featured this season on “Two Guys Garage” on SPEED, was presented to Nyland Nov. 1 during AAPEX at the Sands Exposition Center in Las Vegas. On hand for the presentation were Federated spokesman and NASCAR legend Kenny Schrader as well as Kevin Byrd, one of the co-hosts of “Two Guys Garage” on SPEED.

“Our annual sweepstakes contest is a great way for us to say thank you to our loyal Federated Car Care members, and we want to congratulate Don Nyland on being the grand prize winner this year,” said Phil Moore, senior vice president of Federated Auto Parts. “It was great that Don could make it to Las Vegas on such short notice to accept his ‘sweet ride’ prize. We want to thank Kenny Schrader and Kevin Byrd for being on-hand for our special presentation. It was a lot of fun and we know Don is thrilled with the Corvette.”

In addition to the “Sweet Ride” Corvette, hundreds of other prizes were awarded to Federated Car Care Center members including such other “sweet rides” as go-karts, bicycles and die cast cars. The contest was open to any Federated Car Care Center member who was enrolled by Oct. 15.
