Federated Promotes National Car Care Month

NASCAR drivers Schrader and Wallace emphasize the importance of preventative vehicle maintenance in new public service announcements.

STAUNTON, Va. – Federated Auto Parts and its two spokesmen, Kenny Schrader and Kenny Wallace, have teamed up to help promote National Car Care Month this April. The two NASCAR stars have filmed public service announcements stressing the importance of preventative vehicle maintenance.

“Federated is happy to help promote National Car Care Month and support the activities of the Car Care Council,” said Rusty Bishop, CEO of Federated Auto Parts. “Since Kenny Schrader and Kenny Wallace are two of the most popular drivers in racing, we thought they would be great ambassadors to remind motorists to take care of their cars during National Car Care Month.”

The Kenny’s public service announcements can be viewed on the Federated Car Care YouTube Channel.

“National Car Care Month can be a terrific business-building opportunity for our members,” added Bishop. “From hosting free vehicle check events to offering special National Car Care Month promotions, April is a great time to help build customer loyalty as well as attract new customers.”

The Car Care Council is the source of information for the “Be Car Care Aware” consumer education campaign promoting the benefits of regular vehicle care, maintenance and repair to consumers.
