FDP Friction Science Teams Up With American Brain Tumor Association For Fundraising Program

This year, the ABTA will offer event registrants in the Twin Cities, Dallas and New York City areas who raise more than $150 from Sept. 20-29 a chance to win a VIP trip for two to the final NASCAR race weekend Nov. 20-22 in Miami.

ABTA - LogoFDP Friction Science and the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) have teamed up in the race to find a breakthrough for brain tumors and honor one supporter through the ABTA signature BT5K (Breakthrough for Brain Tumors Run & Walk) fundraising program. This year, with the help of FDP, the ABTA will offer event registrants in the Twin Cities, Dallas and New York City areas who raise more than $150 from Sept. 20-29 a chance to win a VIP trip for two to the final NASCAR race weekend Nov. 20-22 in Miami.

The ABTA winner’s trip will include two round-trip airfares to Miami, a $500 gift card for hotel and ground transportation and VIP access to the race weekend. Winners will be the guests of FDP, The Official Brakes of NASCAR.

This partnership was inspired by Donna Parell, a team captain who has worked to raise funds at the ABTA’s BT5Ks in honor of her brother, Jim Parell, who is a two-time brain tumor patient.

For more information about the ABTA and events, contact 800-886-1281 or abta.org/get-involved/events.
