Faurecia’s New Fort Wayne, Indiana, Facility Will Create More Than 100 Jobs

The company, which currently employs approximately 1,800 Hoosiers at three locations in Columbus, Indiana, plans to begin hiring for a variety of engineering and production positions in the fall.

Faurecia Clean Mobility (FCM), a global manufacturer of automotive emissions control systems, has announced plans today to open a new production facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

“Faurecia is proud to open this new facility and to provide new opportunities for local job seekers,” said Dave DeGraaf, president of FCM in North America. “We’ve had great success growing our business in Indiana due in large part to our ability to attract a highly motivated and skilled workforce and we are looking forward to continuing that progress with this new site.”

Faurecia is making an initial investment of $4 million to begin operations in the 137,500-square-foot facility. The site will create more than 100 new jobs in the Fort Wayne area. The company, which currently employs approximately 1,800 Hoosiers at three locations in Columbus, Indiana, plans to begin hiring for a variety of engineering and production positions in the fall.
