ETS Klauner Joins TEMOT International’s Network

Founded in 1953, ETS Klauner is today owned and led by the fourth family generation and is a leading one-stop-supplier of parts for commercial vehicles.

TEMOT International has welcomed a new shareholder: ETS Klauner s.à r.l. from Luxembourg joined the group effective Feb. 1. The family-run company looks back upon 65 years of company history with a strong business focus on spare parts for trucks, buses and trailers.

Founded in 1953, ETS Klauner is today owned and led by the fourth family generation and is a leading one-stop-supplier of parts for commercial vehicles. These include engine parts, parts for exhaust and braking systems as well as for air conditioning, steering and suspension, electronics, filters, accessories, oils and wheels.

Each day, the company’s sales team manages 12 delivery tours to ensure that the ordered products arrive at the workshops as quickly as possible. ETS Klauner’s sales area covers the entire region of Luxembourg, a country with approximately 3,000 kilometers (1,864 miles) of roads on 2,600 square kilometers (1,616 miles) of territory. The company is headquartered in Steinsel and runs a warehouse that stocks more than 145,000 SKUs over a storage area of 2,200 square meters (23,680 square feet).

“Due to its central and strategic location, Luxembourg is one of Europe’s most important transit countries and, as such, is extremely reliant on truck and bus service,” said Fotios Katsardis, CEO and president of TEMOT International. “From six decades in the business, ETS Klauner knows how to best meet the respective demand. We are pleased to welcome the company to our network and look forward to leveraging the full potential of the Luxembourg market as a team.”

Richard Döhmer, managing director of ETS Klauner, said, “We are thrilled to become a member of the TEMOT Group. The group network members were paramount to our decision. The European truck and trailer aftermarket operates across borders, so it is important for us to forge alliances that enable us to acquire the tools and the inspiration to prepare and tackle future challenges. We strongly believe in the ideas and values of TEMOT. We expect this to be a fruitful and long-lasting partnership.”
