Eaton Named Supplier Of The Year By PACCAR Parts

Eaton was selected from a group of 50 PACCAR Parts suppliers for its outstanding performance in several critical areas, including achieving a 98 percent on-time delivery rate, participating in support for regional training events and supporting a joint marketing program to enhance sales.

Eaton - LogoEaton Corp. has been named Suppler of the Year for its aftermarket operations in Mexico and Latin America by PACCAR Parts, a division of PACCAR Inc., a global technology leader in the design, manufacture and customer support of premium light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks.

Eaton was selected from a group of 50 PACCAR Parts suppliers for its outstanding performance in several critical areas, including achieving a 98 percent on-time delivery rate, participating in support for regional training events and supporting a joint marketing program to enhance sales.

Other criteria for the award included Eaton’s long-term relationship with PACCAR, its broad product portfolio, differentiated marketing programs and the two company’s collaborative relationship.

The award was presented by David Danforth, PACCAR Parts CEO, to Benjamin Gomez, OEM sales manager, Eaton Vehicle Group, on May 19. Gomez congratulated his team for their efforts, particularly account managers Chris Elder, who works out of the Galesburg, Michigan, office, and Julio Villarreal, who is based in Mexico.

Eaton has been a supplier to PACCAR Parts for more than 25 years, providing the aftermarket truck parts division a number of components including reman transmissions, transmission parts and clutch assemblies.
