East Coast Truck And Trailer Joins VIPAR Heavy Duty

Distributor serves fleet customers in southeast Massachusetts and parts of Cape Cod.

CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill. – East Coast Truck and Trailer Inc. in Brockton, Mass., is the newest stockholder to join the VIPAR Heavy Duty network of distributors. Led by its president and owner, Don Cupples, East Coast Truck and Trailer provides southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod with quality truck parts and trailer equipment for medium- to heavy-duty trucks. The company has an additional branch location in Pembroke, Mass.

East Coast Truck & Trailer was formed in 1984 as a truck/trailer service operation. The company exited the service business in 2000 and now focuses entirely on parts distribution with five delivery vehicles. The company has 12 employees, including two outside salesmen.

"We are pleased to welcome East Coast Truck and Trailer to the VIPAR Heavy Duty family," said Jim Pennig, vice president, business development, VIPAR Heavy Duty. "Don Cupples and his team work hard to provide outstanding service to a highly dense urban population as they concentrate on fleets within a 30-mile radius of their two stores."
