Dorman-University-LogoDorman’s newest training opportunity focuses on the installation procedure for a wide variety of GM transmission electro-hydraulic control modules (TEHCM). The company says TEHCM replacement for these vehicles is made possible with Dorman’s patent-pending programming tool that allows technicians to easily program the replacement unit to the vehicle during installation, avoiding a trip to the dealer.

The new technology used in GM TEHCM combines the functions of the transmission control module, valve body solenoids, pressure and temperature switches into one unit. Dorman offers a fully remanufactured and vehicle simulator tested replacement TEHCM solution one that includes 100 percent replacement of gaskets, grommets and seals. Currently, Dorman offers 10 replacement TEHCMs, providing coverage for more than 26 million vehicles on the road today.

The company says signing up for Dorman University is both easy and free. After visiting DormanUniversity.com and enrolling in the program, students can begin selecting from a wide variety of available course content. Each Dorman University training module consists of easy reference course materials, learning content such as videos or presentations, a brief quiz on the course materials, an opportunity to earn a certificate of completion and a closing review summary.
