TEMOT International has welcomed DER Distribuciones S.A. as a new shareholder. In doing so, the trading group is expanding its position in the growing region of South America. DER Distribuciones S.A. supplies workshops in the entire Argentinian market and is one of the country’s leading distributors.

DER Distribuciones S.A. was founded in 1973 as a specialist in ignition and car electronics and, since then, has continued to grow its portfolio and sales territory. Today, the company also sells components for lighting and braking systems as well as steering and suspension parts, engine components, filters and oils for passenger cars and commercial vehicles to 3,500 customers in all 23 provinces of Argentina.

With its headquarters in Buenos Aires, DER Distribuciones S.A. has more than 110 employees and has established up-to-date sales, marketing and logistics to guarantee best-in-class service to its customers. The company’s warehouse offers 3,500 square meters (37,673.69 square feet) of storage space and stocks 45,000 part numbers. Efficient warehouse processes allow for two shipments each day. Currently, the team handles 950 orders per day and is capable of preparing express deliveries within just 45 minutes.
