DENSO Returns To NHRA Las Vegas Nationals As Title Sponsor

In addition to being a title sponsor of the 18th annual DENSO Spark Plugs NHRA Nationals, DENSO also is a supporting sponsor of all 24 races in the series that crisscrosses the nation through November.

DENSO Products and Services Americas Inc. is back at the track this weekend as the title rights sponsor of the 18th annual DENSO Spark Plugs NHRA Nationals. The event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway starts Friday and continues through Sunday.

The DENSO Spark Plugs NHRA Nationals is the fourth stop of the 2017 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series. DENSO also is a supporting sponsor of all 24 races in the series that crisscrosses the nation through November.

“We’re thrilled to return for our second consecutive year as the title sponsor of the NHRA Las Vegas Nationals and support the teams and fans throughout the 2017 season,” said Joseph Mejaly, senior vice president of operations, sales, strategic planning and marketing at DENSO Products and Services Americas. “Every race is a test of automotive excellence, and DENSO is proud to partner with NHRA and be a part of the action.”

DENSO says its premium iridium spark plugs will be a force on the track during the entire series. Fans will find DENSO’s full line of spark plugs at Nitro Alley, the midway where they can learn more about and purchase DENSO plugs at every event.

NHRA social media platforms will feature DENSO posts throughout the weekend. DENSO will post its own race and product updates on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube all season long.

For nearly half a century, DENSO has sponsored world-class motor sports, including NHRA, NASCAR, Formula One, World Rally Championship and Super GT races. In addition to spark plugs, alternators, radiators and engine management systems are among DENSO’s precision OE and replacement auto parts that professional drivers and pit crews count on for the best performance under the most competitive racing conditions and motorists rely on every day.
