DENSO Named 2018 Distinguished OE Partner By APA

The honor marks the second time APA has recognized DENSO as its top OE aftermarket supplier.

DENSO Products and Services Americas Inc. has received the 2018 Distinguished Original Equipment (OE) Partner Award from Automotive Parts Associates (APA) Inc. The buying group, which represents more than $1 billion in purchasing power, announced the award March 8 during its 37th Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida.

The Distinguished OE Partner Award recognizes a leading vendor that has successfully brought its OE products into the automotive aftermarket, supplied APA members with replacement parts of the highest quality and provided exceptional customer support for their operations and initiatives.

The honor marks the second time APA has recognized DENSO as its top OE aftermarket supplier. DENSO was the recipient of the organization’s first Distinguished OE Partner Award when it was created in 2015.

“To earn this award again from our valued APA customers is a profound honor,” said Jose Ramirez, senior manager, aftermarket sales for DENSO Products and Services Americas. “The award recognizes the premium DENSO places on all our groups working together, including customer service, supply chain management, accounting, marketing, promotions, business planning and our executive team. Internal teamwork is our foundation for strong partnerships with our customers.”

APA is a member-owned cooperative of more than 80 shareholders of independent auto parts distributors with more than 400 locations throughout North America.
