Dennis Samfilippo Named GM at Philips Automotive Lighting North AmericaPhilips

He replaces David Davoudi, who has been appointed to head up Philips Consumer Luminaries North America, a newly established business unit of Royal Philips Electronics, based in Elgin, Ill.

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — Philips Automotive Lighting North America, a division of Royal Philips Electronics, has announced that Dennis Samfilippo was appointed general manager of the division.

He replaces David Davoudi, who has been appointed to head up Philips Consumer Luminaries North America, a newly established business unit of Royal Philips Electronics, based in Elgin, Ill.

Samfilippo has more than 20 years of automotive and distribution industry experience in various positions including global business unit manager of the OE Service, Independent Aftermarket and Specialty Market groups with Delphi Steering in Saginaw, Mich.; CEO of Inalfa Sunroofs LLC in Wixom, Mich.; and vice president and general manager – Americas, Service & Parts Division at Wartsila Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
 
Samfilippo will be based out of Philips Automotive Lighting North America corporate headquarters in Farmington Hills, Mich.

Philips Automotive Lighting produces a full range of DOT approved lighting for replacement and upgrade, covering every type of vehicle application including headlighting, signaling and interior lighting. Philips Automotive Lighting offers 12 different lighting ranges to meet virtually every driving need.
