Dean Martin Appointed Group Publisher Of Tire Review

Martin joined Babcox Media in 1996 as a regional sales manager and was later named publisher of Fleet Equipment and Tomorrow’s Technician.

Babcox Media Inc. has announced that Dean Martin, group publisher, will be assuming responsibility for the Tire Review brand, effective Oct. 1.

Martin joined Babcox Media in 1996 as a regional sales manager and was later named publisher of Fleet Equipment and Tomorrow’s Technician.

“I’ve spent the majority of my career in the publishing business and if I’ve learned anything, it’s that each market is uniquely different than the next, but that the goal of the publisher remains the same – deliver valuable content,” said Martin. “I’m excited to serve the tire industry and to work with the accomplished and talented Tire Review team.”

Since 1901, Tire Review has been committed to helping today’s independent tire dealers run and grow a stronger, more competitive business. It is the oldest brand in the Babcox Media portfolio and delivers a strong mix of operational advice, service information and up-to-the-minute news across its print, digital and video platforms. Patti (Renner) Hoying will continue in her role as the brand’s editor and as a respected resource in the industry and advocate for the independent tire dealer.

Randy Loeser, former group publisher of Tire Review and Engine Builder, will be leading a new business unit at Babcox Media, focused on providing creative and custom content strategies and services for clients.

Bill Babcox, president and CEO of Babcox Media, said, “The Tire Review brand has really expanded its footprint in the marketplace, establishing a reputation for truly celebrating the independent tire dealer and delivering market-intelligence reporting to help owners and operators grow their business. I appreciate all that Randy has done to build the brand and I know that Dean is the perfect leader to build on the momentum.”
