Deadline to Enter the AIA Industry Awards Program at AAPEX is Oct. 12

AAPEX exhibitors who make products for import cars and trucks are invited to enter the AIA Industry Awards Program at AAPEX by the Oct. 12 deadline. Administered by the Auto International Association (AIA) segment of AAIA, and now in its 19th year, the program recognizes manufacturers and marketers for excellence in developing high-quality products and innovative marketing programs for the import aftermarket.

The program, which is open to all exhibitors for a $140 fee per entry, has received acclaim from many industry leaders.

"Two years ago, Bosal Exhaust was honored at the AIA Awards Program," said Pat Suiter, Bosal USA, Inc. "We have always believed our products to be superior, but winning this award from AIA meant that an independent panel of industry experts agreed with us. This type of validation is only possible from other aftermarket professionals, and the AIA Awards Program can provide you with this opportunity."

"Effective communication is more important than ever in today’s complex automotive aftermarket," said Pam Krebs, Robert Bosch LLC. "The AIA Industry Awards Program honors those companies whose work in marketing and communications exemplifies the very best in creativity, planning and execution. This AIA Award is dedicated to recognizing excellence and is truly one of a kind."

The AIA Industry Awards Display Area has moved to a new location, and every entry benefits with AAPEX-long exposure near the entrance to the Sands Expo Center upper lobby from the Venetian Hotel. Award recipients will be recognized at an Oct. 30 press briefing and honored at the AIA Luncheon/Awards Program on Oct. 31. Special post-AAPEX full-page trade press ad salutes award winners in Counterman magazine.

All exhibitors are invited to enter as many of the following seven categories as they like:

* Best overall import aftermarket product;

* Best new product for import cars or trucks;

* Best new performance product or accessory for imported cars or trucks;

* Best merchandising/advertising of a product for import cars or trucks;

* Best new packaging of a product for import cars or trucks;

* Best new catalog of a product line for import cars or trucks; and

* Best website presentation of a product line for import cars or trucks.
