Dayco has named Arnold Mouw to the position of managing director of its business in Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. As managing director, Mouw will lead the company’s business in the region, including sales, manufacturing, distribution and all support functions.
“Arnold and his team are achieving continued growth in the regions they manage through expanded product offerings and best-in-class service,” said John Bohenick, CEO for Dayco. “As the market rapidly grows, the automotive aftermarket in Southeast Asia is expected to become a $38 billion industry by 2025. With Arnold leading our business in this region, I am confident we will leverage our brand strength to increase sales and customer support in this emerging market.”
Mouw brings to this role at Dayco extensive experience in sales, marketing and manufacturing. He joined Dayco in 2011 as managing director of Australia and has played a key role in the company’s growth in Australia and New Zealand. Under his leadership, Dayco’s business in the region continues to grow. Mouw also helped lead the 2013 acquisition of Precision Parts Pty. Ltd., which increased Dayco’s manufacturing footprint for aftermarket crankshaft dampers.
Prior to joining Dayco, Mouw held multiple leadership roles throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the United States, including 25 years of service with Cadillac Plastics.
