Dayco has announced plans for continued expansion of the company’s presence and local customer support across South East Asia. The company’s expansion of product and customer service support in South East Asia aligns with the significant automotive aftermarket growth taking place throughout the region, according to Dayco.
Following the establishment of a new Dayco South East Asian sales office in Singapore and the appointment of Yong Kee Ng as the region’s business development manager in 2017, Dayco also opened a new warehouse in the Penjuru region of the country this year.
Dayco says this new warehouse ensures that automotive repairers throughout South East Asia have prompt access to the vast aftermarket range of Dayco V-belts, Poly V-belts, timing belts, tensioners and pulleys for both passenger and commercial vehicles.
Dayco also has announced the appointment of Jeannette Loh, who now heads the local customer service operation to best support Dayco’s South East Asian customers. Loh brings more than two decades of customer service support experience across several industries to Dayco South East Asia.
“Dayco’s South East Asian presence and localized customer service continues to grow, in line with our commitment to service the rapid growth of the automotive aftermarket industry throughout the region,” said Arnold Mouw, Dayco vice president, Asia Pacific Aftermarket.
“Our new localized warehousing coupled with our experienced local management and customer service appointments ensure that Dayco is responding to the increasing demands of automotive repairers and re-sellers throughout the region,” added Mouw.
With locations worldwide, Dayco is a global leader in the research, design, manufacturing and distribution of essential engine products, drive systems and services and has been for more than a century.
