Daimler AG Approves Axalta Brands Standox And Spies Hecker In Russia, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland And Luxembourg

In addition to supplying paint, representatives of each of these two Axalta global refinish brands will provide body shops and dealerships with technical support and color management assistance, and offer consulting to help optimize efficiency.

COLOGNE, Germany – Daimler AG has renewed its approval of two leading Axalta Coating Systems global refinish brands – Spies Hecker and Standox – as car paint brands that are authorized for use by Mercedes-Benz dealerships and body shops across Russia, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg. The contract renewal extends the term of the approval with Daimler AG until the end of 2016.
 
Jürgen Knorr, Axalta Coating Systems director key accounts EMEA refinish systems, commented, “Premium car owners expect nothing less than perfection when it comes to repairs. Spies Hecker and Standox paint systems are formulated to deliver superior results, excellent color-matching accuracy and customized solutions. Those attributes were put to the test through extensive quality trials and long-term testing with Daimler before our contract was renewed.”
