CVG Names Dean Vomero VP of Mergers and Acquisitions and Business Development

In his new position, Vomero will oversee CVG's efforts to identify and acquire strategically aligned global business opportunities.

NEW ALBANY, Ohio – Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG) has announced that Dean Vomero has joined the company’s leadership team as vice president of mergers and acquisitions and business development.
 
In his new position, Vomero will oversee CVG’s efforts to identify and acquire strategically aligned global business opportunities. Vomero also will manage the company’s continuous improvement programs, which include responsibility for CVG’s supplier quality function. Over the past several months, he has served as a consultant on several key strategic projects for CVG.
 
Vomero brings more than 20 years financial and operational expertise across multiple industries to CVG. He most recently served as a managing director for Mesirow Financial Consulting and Bridge Associates. He also served as an interim executive officer for a variety of privately and public companies both domestically and internationally. He has lectured before the American Bar Association, American Bankruptcy Institute, Ohio & Pennsylvania Society of CPAs and the Pennsylvania Electric Association. Vomero graduated from John Carroll University with a BSBA in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.
