The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA) has announced a new technology session to be presented at the 7th Annual Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue (HDAD) Conference.
In the session, titled “Realities of Current and Future Technology on the Aftermarket,” industry experts Mike Foster of Allison Transmission; Jon Morrison of WABCO; Kent Jones of ZF; and Sandeep Kar of Fleet Complete, will discuss emerging technologies and their impact on suppliers and the aftermarket channel. From GPS to full vehicle management, “Realities of Current and Future Technology on the Aftermarket” will cover the current and future impacts on service and aftermarket parts providers.
HDAD will be held from 8a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, 2019, in the Terry Fator Theater at The Mirage in Las Vegas. The daylong conference is co-presented by HDMA and MacKay & Co. and will immediately precede Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) 2019.
HDAD will examine the current aftermarket climate and provide a complete overview, focusing on imminent changes from both the manufacturer and fleet perspectives. The event will feature individual presenters and separate distribution executive panel discussions with primary topics that include:
- The Real-World View – A Global Perspective
- The Ever-changing and Evolving Aftermarket
- The Global Economic Overview
- Realities of Current and Future Technology on the Aftermarket
- The Changing Distribution Model – The Growing and Emerging Players
- Parts and Service: The Fleet Perspective
Conference registration is intended to facilitate networking with industry peers and will include: digital presentation materials, breakfast, breaks, a networking luncheon, and the HDAW 2019 All-Industry Reception. Those planning to attend are encouraged to arrive on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019, to prepare for the conference’s start time of 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, 2019.
