The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association, the Commercial Vehicle Division of the Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), has announced that Tom Meyers of Cummins Emission Solutions, Ben Patel of the Clean Air Division of Tenneco and Duke Punian of Parker Hannifin will speak at the fourth annual Off-Highway Dialogue conference.
Moderated by Kevin Hawkesworth, president and CEO of Shaw Development, the panel will discuss “The Effect of Final Tier 4 Emissions Regulations on the Off-Highway Industry” in a panel that will focus on supplier preparation and experiences in working with Tier 4 Final and Stage 5 implementation. The panelists will be sharing product development and industrialization challenges and successes they have encountered while preparing for the new regulations. Other key elements to be discussed will be global harmonization, or dis-harmonization, of regulations and means of compliance, as well as levels of technology relative to on-highway that are transferable to off-highway vehicles. Attendees will be able to ask questions of the speaker during the final 15 minutes of the segment.
Off-Highway Dialogue will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 5, including dinner and a reception, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. The conference is jointly presented by HDMA and SAE International, and immediately precedes SAE/COMVEC.
HDMA’s Off-Highway Dialogue Conference was developed for, and is attended by the off-highway industry’s executive leadership from the commercial vehicle supplier, OEM executive, financial analyst and media communities. Registrants for the Off-Highway Outlook Conference can attend the SAE/COMVEC Expo with their Off-Highway Dialogue conference admission.
