LONDON CTEK, a global battery maintenance and care brand, has announced the recent appointment of its new CEO Jon Lind. He will be based at CTEK’s Headquarters in Vikmanshyttan, Sweden, for his new role.
Lind brings with him a wealth of senior management experience, previously holding the position of managing director of Dellner Couplers, a leading supplier of complete train connection systems. In this and other roles at Dellner Couplers during the past 20 years, Lind gained extensive understanding of sales and product development, making him a perfect fit to develop CTEK’s brand and global position as the creator of the world’s smartest battery chargers.
As part of the appointment, Lind also will become CEO of CTEK’s sister company, Creator. The leading research, design and product development consultancy specializes in collaborating with companies to create next-generation products.
"We are facing an important period in CTEK’s development, with a number of positive challenges," Lind said. "CTEK has already enjoyed great success, both domestically and in the export market. Our success is based on creativity and technical knowledge that has developed a series of world-class, award-winning products. We want to build on this success by further increasing market share, particularly in our emerging markets of China and the U.S., so we will be focusing heavily on sales and marketing activity.
"We see both China and the U.S. as key areas for development of the short- to medium-term. We will be bringing our Chinese and U.S. senior managers into our management team to ensure a much more synchronized approach. Asia and the U.S. are both big markets and we see some great opportunities to significantly increase market share."
