CRC Industries Kicks Off Video Contest

Grand prize is a trip to Vegas and $2,500 cash.

WARMINSTER, Pa. – CRC Industries has launched a video contest on YouTube (www.youtube.com/iusecrc) and at the CRC contest site (www.crcindustries.com/iusecrc).

For the contest, CRC is asking technicians, DIYers and the public to share their skills and experience using CRC products and create a commercial demonstrating "Why I choose or how I use CRC," in an effort to spread the word about the applications and advantages of the company’s products.

The contest runs June 1 – Aug. 31. Videos should include CRC brand product(s) or CRC-owned brands (K&W, Sta-Lube or Marykate) and address topics such as educating a viewer on where and how to use CRC products, how CRC products help perform a specific job, why someone should choose CRC over other brands, or how CRC products help with everyday business or general maintenance.

"No one can show better how and why CRC products are used than those who use them every day," said Phil Ruffino, CRC director of marketing. "We’re opening up this contest to all our markets and all our users – tech students, DIYers, business owners, technicians, home owners … everyone. Grab a video camera and show us what CRC products mean to you, your business or your hobby. We are really looking forward to seeing the results."

The winner will be awarded a trip to Las Vegas including airfare, three-night premier hotel accommodations, $2,500 cash and tickets to the 2010 SEMA Show and AAPEX. Ten runners-up will receive cash prizes.

CRC will select finalists based on demonstrated product service and/or value, creativity and the video’s overall message. Top videos will be posted on the CRC contest site and YouTube for voting by the public.

Entries must be original videos up to 90 seconds long in WMV, AVI, MOV, or MPG format, and less than 150 MB. Register, upload videos and review complete contest details at www.crcindustries.com/iusecrc.
