Continental Tire the Americas LLC will increase prices in the U.S. market effective May 1 by up to seven percent on Continental- and General-branded passenger and light truck tires.
The price increase is in response to the continued escalation of raw materials, energy and logistics costs associated with the production and distribution of passenger and light truck tires.
The increase will vary across marketing lines and tire sizes.
Other companies that have increased their prices include Bridgestone and Falken, and Michelin North American and Yokohama.
