Commercial Vehicle Group Awarded Caterpillar Platinum Certification For Plant In Czech Republic

The Platinum Status is the highest distinction, awarded only to a select few suppliers that meet or exceed Caterpillar's supplier standards.

Commercial Vehicle Group Inc. (CVG), a leading supplier of fully integrated system solutions for the global commercial vehicle market, has announced that its wire harness facility in Liberec, Czech Republic (CVG PEKM), has been awarded Platinum Status by Caterpillar under its Supplier Quality Excellence Program.  

commercial-vehicle-group-logoThe Platinum Status is the highest distinction, awarded only to a select few suppliers that meet or exceed Caterpillar’s rigorous supplier standards.  

Caterpillar’s Supplier Quality Excellence Program, introduced in 2007, is available only to those suppliers that demonstrate world-class performance in quality, delivery and service. CVG PEKM has achieved this honor for three consecutive years.   

“We are extremely proud of the CVG PEKM team and their dedication to delivering best in class service to our customers,” said Patrick Miller, president and CEO. “Our relationship with Caterpillar is important to all of us at CVG and we will continue to reinforce our shared commitment to manufacturing excellence.”
