Chris Patterson, President and CEO, Freightliner to Speak at MATS Breakfast

Attendees at the 16th Annual Breakfast & Briefing on March 24 at the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS), in Louisville, KY, can get a jump-start on the day and hear the insights of Chris Patterson, president and CEO of Freightliner LLC. The highly popular event is presented by the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA).

Patterson will present his experiences from more than 25 years in the heavy duty industry. He provides vision and direction for DaimlerChrysler’s NAFTA Truck Operations, as well as managing Freightliner LLC and affiliated companies: Sterling Trucks, Western Star Trucks, Thomas Built Buses, Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp., Detroit Diesel Corp. and Axle Alliance Co.

“We are expecting a record crowd at HDMA’s Breakfast & Briefing, so we have expanded our meeting space to accommodate 1,000 attendees,” said Tim Kraus, HDMA executive director. “Participants can enjoy a free cup of coffee while waiting in line for the breakfast buffet, thanks to the sponsorship of MacKay & Co.,” he said.

Attendees can purchase individual tickets or reserve tables. “Tickets are going fast,” Kraus noted. “Reserved tables are selling at a good pace and represent 60 percent of current sales.”

Tables of 10 at the annual HDMA event will feature corporate logos and can be reserved for $650. Those with reserved tables will receive priority seating and be allowed early entry into the event. Individual tickets can be purchased for $39.95. Sponsorship opportunities also are still available.
