Chip Foose Receives 2014 NACE | CARS Expo Top Custom Car Award For Chevy ‘Cool Air’ Featuring BASF Glasurit Paint

The award was presented to Foose as he was joined by members of the BASF Automotive Refinish team at the recent 2014 National Autobody Congress and Exposition & Conference (NACE | CARS Expo) in Detroit. Visitors and exhibitors at the expo voted on their favorite vehicle being exhibited.

DETROIT – Chip Foose of Foose Design was recently presented with the Top Custom Car Award from the Automotive Service Association for his restyled Wes Rydell 1954 Chevy “Cool Air” Bel-Air.
 
The award was presented to Foose as he was joined by members of the BASF Automotive Refinish team at the recent 2014 National Autobody Congress and Exposition & Conference (NACE | CARS in Detroit. Visitors and exhibitors at the expo voted on their favorite vehicle being exhibited. Chip Foose is presented the Top Custom Car award by the Automotive Service Association at the 2014 NACE | CARS Expo in Detroit. Chip is joined by Denise Kingstrom, strategic accounts manager for BASF, and Mary Ann Short, marketing services manager for BASF.
 
The Cool Air features a custom BASF Glasurit 90-Line paint in a rich, copper finish.

NACE | CARS is the largest North American conference and exhibition dedicated to the auto collision and service repair industries.
