Chicago Pneumatic Encourages Automotive Schools to Enter the T2 School of the Year Competition

Chicago Pneumatic, manufacturer of aftermarket tools, accessories and compressors, and Tomorrow’s Technician (T2) magazine encourage automotive technical students and teachers to nominate their schools for the 2007/08 T2 School of the Year presented by Chicago Pneumatic.

“We’re excited about partnering with Tomorrow’s Technician to honor the best automotive technical schools in the United States,” said Paul Humphreys, global communications manager for Chicago Pneumatic Vehicle Service Division. “Through the process of searching for the institution that’s doing the best job educating our industry’s future technicians, we hope to acknowledge students and teachers nationwide who strive for excellence in the classroom every day.”

Entry details can be found online at www.tomorrowstechnician.com by clicking on the T2 School of the Year presented by Chicago Pneumatic banner. In addition to nationwide recognition, the winning schools will receive a Chicago Pneumatic School of the Year flag and shop banners, plus Chicago Pneumatic tools, clothing and scholarship monies. Four regional prizes will be awarded, with the Grand Prize winner earning additional prizes and awards. Entries must be received by Dec. 31.

“Babcox and Tomorrow’s Technician share Chicago Pneumatic’s dedication to technical training and safety,” said Beth Skove, associate publisher at Babcox, which publishes Tomorrow’s Technician. “Our mutual desire to assist in the education of young technicians brought about this idea to recognize the best automotive technical schools nationwide.”
