Champion Labs Names New VP of Global Procurement

Champion Laboratories has added Mary Blair to its team as vice president, global procurement. Brought in to execute Champ Labs’ corporate initiatives and goals, Blair, in her new position, will be responsible for leading all procurement activities into one centrally-led body while reducing spending, generating greater speed and improving processes and relationships with key supplier partners in the company's worldwide supply chain. Blair will lead worldwide procurement with a more strategic focus.

ALBION, IL – Champion Laboratories has added Mary Blair to its team as vice president, global procurement. Brought in to execute Champ Labs’ corporate initiatives and goals, Blair, in her new position, will be responsible for leading all procurement activities into one centrally-led body while reducing spending, generating greater speed and improving processes and relationships with key supplier partners in the company’s worldwide supply chain. Blair will lead worldwide procurement with a more strategic focus.

Blair brings to her new role more than 21 years of procurement experience at Navistar International and General Motors. Over the years, she has held a variety of supply-chain positions within global purchasing at both companies and has been a recognized speaker within the automotive industry. Her expertise in global sourcing and corporate raw material enabled her to become a Professional Fellow in Corporate Raw Material while at General Motors.

Blair holds a bachlelor’s degree from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI, and a master’s degree from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, MI. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. from Capella University in Minneapolis, MN, specializing in global leadership.
