Centric Parts Hires Peter Chen As New Supplier Quality Engineer

Chen comes to Centric Parts with more than 30 years of experience in engineering and quality control, most recently serving as manufacturing and quality engineer at Carlisle Interconnect Technologies. Earning his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering, Chen has developed engineering, quality and manufacturing expertise in FMEA, TQM, Six Sigma, CPK study, SPC, LEAN & Kaizen programs. Prior to Carlisle, Chen was employed with Seagate, a global data storage company.

Centric Parts - Peter ChenCentric Parts has announced the hiring of Peter Chen as a supplier quality engineer. In this role, he will be part of the company’s corporate quality group, responsible for overall supplier quality, interacting with engineering, supply chain/purchasing and the quality assurance staff.

“Our Centric, Qualis and StopTech supplier base continues to grow to support our overall corporate growth, and product quality remains foundational for our business,” said Centric CEO and President Dan Lelchuk.

“We are pleased to have Peter joining our operation,” said Greg Woo, vice president and general manager of performance. “He has extensive experience with sub-tier supplier quality management in Taiwan and China, he speaks fluent Mandarin and he is able to conduct quality management system and business process reviews following the ISO9001 standard.
