CCC Information Services, I-CAR Education Foundation Announce Winners of Annual Scholarship

Each student will receive a scholarship award in the amount of $5,000.

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. – The I-CAR Education Foundation and CCC Information Services have selected three exceptional students as winners of the CCC Michael Salvatore Memorial Student Repair Technician Scholarship. The scholarship program was renamed in 2007 to honor longtime CCC team member Michael Salvatore.

The CCC Michael Salvatore Memorial Student Repair Technician Scholarship awards scholarships to students currently enrolled at a NATEF-certified school or an Industry Training Alliance school that is currently using the CCC Estimating System. The scholarship funds are available to the winning students to pay back tuition costs that accumulated during their education. Each student will receive a scholarship award in the amount of $5,000.

The 2010 winners include:
• Michael Allen Cornelison (UTI, Houston, Texas)
• Ryan Kelley (Fox Valley Technical College, Appleton, Wis.)
• Nicholas David Roueche (Bridgerland Applied Technology College, Logan, Utah)

“The I-CAR Education Foundation is fulfilling a critical role for both students and collision repairers,” said CCC’s Automotive Services Group Vice President Joseph Allen. "Students from across the country continue to benefit through the Education Foundation’s annual scholarships and getting the latest technology into the hands of tomorrow’s technician. We are pleased to continue our support of the scholarship program.”

“This is the fourth year that the I-CAR Education Foundation has worked together with CCC Information Services Inc. to provide this student scholarship,” noted I-CAR Education Foundation Executive Director Scott Kruger. “We are impressed with the accomplishments of the scholarship recipients and they should take pride in this recognition. Thanks to CCC Information Services for their continued support of assisting the future professionals of our industry.”
