LEAWOOD, Kan. CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts has once again expanded its corporate team to serve its continually growing network of collision repair shops around North America. New staff additions are adding strength to the company’s training programs, according to CARSTAR.
Kim Carrington joined CARSTAR this week as the new corporate training & development specialist. In her new role, Carrington will help identify CARSTAR’s future training needs and expand existing training programs to meet the evolving changes in the industry. Carrington will report to Willie Ramirez, CARSTAR corporate VP, human resources & administration, and will oversee enhancing CARSTAR’s current online training courses in CARSTAR-U, EDGE Performance instructor-led courses and development of new training mediums to help improve organizational performance.
Before joining CARSTAR, Carrington worked as a development manager, providing consulting to several businesses where she focused on conducting business needs assessments, strategic planning and developing training solutions. She also has managed training efforts for the American Academy of Family Physicians (a franchise network), and she served as an organizational development consultant for schools in the state of Missouri.
Carrington earned her masters of public administration in organizational behavior/human resources from the University of Missouri, and bachelor’s of fine arts from the University of Minnesota. She is an active volunteer with Great Plains ASPCA and the Kansas City Ethnic Enrichment Commission.
