The 2011 Automotive Communications Awards (ACA) will be presented on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at the Women's Board reception during Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week in Las Vegas.

BETHESDA, Md. – The Car Care Council Women’s Board, along with the Automotive Communication Council (ACC), has announced that the 2011 Automotive Communications Awards (ACA) will be presented on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at the Women’s Board reception during Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week in Las Vegas.

The Automotive Communications Awards recognize those companies and agencies that provide automotive information to consumers and the trade professionals who interact with them on a daily basis. All entries must be produced and/or implemented between Jan. 2010 and Nov. 2011.

New this year, additional categories for social media efforts have been added to both the business-to-consumer and business-to-business sections, which include best blog, best Facebook customization of an aftermarket company, best QR code customization, best app for a mobile device and best use of a YouTube video. In addition, best media outreach to non-English speaking audiences, female audience and aftermarket industry recruiting materials have been added to the ACA categories.
