Canadian Tire Vice President To Speak At ASPA Luncheon

Sponsored by DS Container, the luncheon will take place from 12-1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at the Venetian Hotel and Casino.

LAS VEGAS – The Automotive Specialty Products Alliance (ASPA) annual luncheon during AAPEX will feature a presentation by Jim McCown, vice president for automotive parts and assortment at Canadian
Tire. Sponsored by DS Container, the luncheon will take place from 12-1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at the Venetian Hotel and Casino.    
 
An alliance of the Auto Care Association, Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association and the Consumer Products Specialty Association, ASPA provides a unified industry voice for its members engaged in the automotive chemical and vehicle appearance product market.    
 
The cost to attend the event is $100 per person or $1,000 for a table of 10.

Continental Celebrates Expansion in South Carolina

Continental Tire the Americas (Continental) officially opened a new sustainably designed facility in Fort Mill, S.C., on March 21, with local and state officials, key building project representatives and corporate social responsibility partners, the company said. The 90,000-square-foot-building, which sits on 33 acres in northern Lancaster County, has capacity for 350 employees and is designed and built for future expansion potential.
