BPI’s Haimeng Brake Plant Named Top 10 Employer

The award was presented through a joint effort by the Corporate Social Responsibility and Employer Brand Communication Research Center of Peking University and Zhaopin.com, a top authority in recruitment and employer branding.

haimeng top101MCHENRY, Ill. – Brake Parts Inc (BPI) announced that its Haimeng brake components manufacturing facility in Longkou, Shandong, China, has been selected as a “Yantai City Top 10 Employer” in conjunction with the China Annual Best Employer Awards 2014.

The award was presented through a joint effort by the Corporate Social Responsibility and Employer Brand Communication Research Center of Peking University and Zhaopin.com, a top authority in recruitment and employer branding.

“We are honored to be recognized as one of the top employers in the Yantai City region, especially since close to 800 companies in the area entered the competition,” said Randy Clausen, vice president of human resources for Brake Parts Inc. “BPI was chosen based on our company’s good reputation in the local area, our ‘family like’ company culture, employee activities, low turn-over rate, respectable labor relationships, effective training programs and company benefits. We are proud of the corporate culture we have created at the Haimeng facility and this prestigious award is a great testament to the hard work and dedication of our employees.”

Companies with more than 500 employees at a specific revenue level were invited to take part in the campaign for the award in the Yantai City area. The winners were selected according to a number of factors, including a company’s corporate culture, employer brand building strategy, employer image, organization management, compensation and benefits, training and development, employee satisfaction and loyalty.

The Longkou, China, plant is one of 10 manufacturing facilities BPI operates worldwide.
