Robert Bosch LLC has announced the addition of 170 new SKUs in the month of November to its aftermarket product lineup. Additions were made to the braking, rotating machine, spark plug, oxygen sensor, engine management and fuel pump product lines.
Bosch QuietCast Disc Brake Pads
Two new SKUs have been added to the Bosch QuietCast Brake Pad product line, extending coverage for late-model domestic vehicles. The new Bosch QuietCast Brake Pad set SKUs cover more than 1.3 million units in operation in the U.S. including the 2013-‘16 Ford Fusion, 2013-’16 Lincoln MKZ and 2014-‘16 Jeep Cherokee V6 3.2L.
All Bosch premium QuietCast Disc Brake Pads feature friction formulas specific to the application – semi-metallic, NAO or copper-free ceramic – and include synthetic lubricant for all applications.
Bosch Blue Disc Brake Pads
Bosch Blue Brake Pads feature OE-style, multi-layer shims that provide superior noise dampening characteristics, according to Bosch. They’re designed to deliver quality and performance and are ideal for the shop owner who is a “generalist” looking to provide customers with the best value. Bosch Blue Brake Pads come towel-wrapped on select applications for added protection and value.
Two new Bosch Blue Brake Pad set SKUs have been added, covering 1.1 million units in operation. The part numbers cover models including the 2013-‘16 Ford Fusion and 2013-‘16 Lincoln MKZ.
Bosch QuietCast Rotors
In this category, 102 new SKUs have been introduced to the Bosch QuietCast Rotors line, offering coverage for domestic, Asian and European vehicles. Bosch QuietCast Rotors are constructed of high-quality materials to provide consistent, safe and long-lasting performance, the company states.
The new part numbers cover 17.8 million units in operation in the U.S. including the 2007-‘15 Mini Cooper, 2012-‘16 Jeep Cherokee, 2014-‘16 BMW 228i, 2015-‘16 Chrysler 200, 2007-‘16 Lexus LS460 and much more.
Bosch Rotating Machines
The Bosch Rotating Machines group has added 25 new SKUs for new and remanufactured alternators and starters, covering late-model domestic, Asian and European vehicles that are coming out of their warranty periods and are prime candidates for service in the aftermarket. The new part numbers extend coverage to 12.6 million vehicles in operation in the U.S.
Seventeen new SKUs for new and remanufactured starters are now available for models including the 2012-‘14 Hyundai Elantra L4 cyl. 1.8L, 2008-‘15 Chevrolet Express 2500 V8 cyl. 4.8L, 2010-‘13 Ford E-350 Super Duty V10 cyl. 6.8L and more. Eight new SKUs for remanufactured alternators cover vehicles including the 2010-‘14 Cadillac Escalade V8 cyl. 6.2L, 2014-’16 Toyota Corolla L4 cyl. 1.8L, 2012-‘14 Chevrolet Cruze L4 cyl. 1.4L and more.
According to Bosch, its remanufactured starters and alternators are built with top-quality materials using the most advanced technology to withstand extreme heat, cold and high demand. They are 100 percent performance-tested to last longer and deliver more reliable service, says the company.
Bosch Spark Plugs
Manufacturing innovative, state-of-the-art spark plugs for more than 112 years, Bosch continues to expand the product line, adding 17 new SKUs in the month of November. Through the addition of these new part numbers, coverage is extended to an additional 12.3 million domestic, Asian and European vehicles in operation.
Eight new Double Iridium spark plugs cover vehicles including the 2015-‘16 Mercedes-Benz C400 4 cyl. 2.0L Turbo, 2013-‘16 Subaru Outback H4 cyl. 2.5L, 2014-‘15 Chevrolet Cruze L4 cyl. 1.8L and more.
Three new Double Iridium Pin-to-Pin plugs cover vehicles including the 2008-’12 Infiniti EX35 V6 cyl. 3.5L, 2012-‘15 Honda Civic Hybrid L4 cyl. 1.5L and 2012-‘16 Toyota Prius-C L4 cyl. and more.
Five new Iridium spark plugs cover vehicles including the 2011-‘16 Mini Cooper L4 cyl. 1.6L Turbo, 2011-‘16 Dodge Challenger V6 cyl. 3.6L, and 2012-‘16 Ford Edge L4 cyl. 2.0L Turbo and more.
One new Nickel-yttrium/Copper-core spark plug covers the 2014-‘16 Porsche (991) 911 GT3 H6 cyl. 3.8L.
Bosch Oxygen Sensors
As the leading supplier and manufacturer of aftermarket oxygen sensors worldwide, Bosch has announced the addition of six new SKUs to the oxygen sensor line. The new part numbers extend coverage to 5.1 million late-model domestic and Asian vehicles in operation.
Offering OE fit, form and function, the new premium OE-fit oxygen sensors are available for models including the 2013-‘15 Ford Fusion, 2013-‘15 Nissan Altima, 2015 Infiniti QX70, 2008-‘12 Honda Accord and more.
In 2016, Bosch is celebrating a dual milestone in oxygen sensors: the 40th anniversary of its invention of the automotive oxygen sensor, and the production of its 1 billionth oxygen sensor.
Bosch Engine Management
Eight new SKUs for secondary air pumps have been added to the Bosch Engine Management line. The new part numbers cover more than 2.6 million vehicles in operation in the U.S. All Bosch secondary air pumps released to the aftermarket are plug-and-play and provide OE fit, form and function.
The new part numbers extend coverage for domestic and European vehicles in the U.S., including the 2005 Cadillac Deville, 2000-‘05 Porsche 911, 2000-‘04 Audi A6, 2009-‘15 Mercedes G550 and more.
Bosch Fuel Pumps
The Bosch gasoline systems group has added eight new fuel pump module assembly part numbers, extending coverage to an additional 1.1 million late-model domestic and Asian vehicles in operation in the U.S.
Bosch says its fuel pumps feature superior turbine design and offer OE form, fit and function. The eight new SKUs cover models including the 2008-‘12 Jeep Liberty, 2009-‘10 Dodge Ram 1500, 2011-‘15 Dodge Journey and more.
